Have you ever seen the Angel Trees at Christmas time, where people can take an ornament off the tree and get a gift for a family in need? What about the other 11 months of the year?
The Giving Tree Project is a year-round initiative to share our resources with our neighbors. Maybe you have extra bars of soap in your cabinet, or maybe you wouldn’t mind buying an extra bag of rice on your Aldi run this week. Or perhaps you have a box of clothes that your kid grew out of that you keep forgetting to donate.
The Driftless Neighbors Network takes requests from local organizations that support our most vulnerable populations. Our active drives are listed below — pick one to see what's needed and pledge an item, just like bringing a dish to a pot-luck.
Small acts make big change: consider fulfilling one item today!

We use a simple porch drop-off system with drop off points currently in Platteville. If you need to arrange pickup outside of Platteville or if you have items to give that aren’t on our current request list, email us at DriftlessNeighbors@gmail.com.
